From grit… to glow
Hi, I'm Kaila. I know what it feels like to go through the hard things—to be tested, stretched, and pushed to grow. And I also know what it feels like to rise.
Grit N Glow was born from that journey—finding healing, strength, and light in places I never expected. Now I use everything I've learned to help others feel confident, feel seen, and feel connected to themselves again.
Whether I'm painting a child's face or holding space in a Reiki session, my intention is always the same—to help you glow in your own way.
The turning point
I didn't get here the easy way. I've walked through heartbreak and one of the hardest resets of my life. It broke me open… but it also woke me up. I made a decision in that season: the cycles stop with me. No more repeating patterns. No more settling. No more losing myself.
I chose to rise—not just for me, but for my kids, especially my daughter. To show her what strength looks like. What healing looks like. What it means to rebuild your life and actually glow again.
Healing didn't happen overnight. It came in layers—through learning, growing, breaking down, and rebuilding. I found tools. I found energy work. I found pieces of myself I didn't even know were missing. And slowly, I became someone I was proud of. Grounded. Aware. Strong. Open. That's where Grit N Glow was born—not from perfection, but from choosing to keep going.

I created Grit N Glow to be what I didn't have when I needed it most—a space where you feel heard, validated, safe, and grounded. A place where you don't have to have it all figured out, but you can start finding your way. You'll leave with more than just a service.
